Winning at Governance, 38th Annual Trustee Conference
Hospital and health system trustees and chief executives from more than 65 organizations across the state gathered September 14 -16 at Healthcare Trustees of New York State’s (HTNYS) 38th Annual Conference, Winning at Governance, in Saratoga Springs.
The two and a half-day agenda featured 17 national and local experts on timely topics ranging from board-chief executive officer and board-physician relations, cybersecurity, and the opioid crisis to healthcare futurism, and “system-ness.” Molly Poleto, trustee, Columbia Memorial Health, was among the many attendees who enjoyed their overall conference experience. She said:
“The speakers are well qualified, speak on pertinent topics, and the meeting setting is excellent. This conference consistently meets my needs to advance my knowledge about what’s going on now and what to expect in the future—as I work on board-related initiatives, and focus on our mission.”
