New: Video added to Member Spotlight

Our Member Spotlights have always highlighted the great work of our members. Now HANYS’ in-house videographer will film and produce a short, social media-ready video in addition to a written story highlighting each Member Spotlight program to help you engage with your community. Learn about our expanded submission criteria and submit your story on our website.


State legislative activity update

Recently the governor signed the following bills of interest into law:

  • Clinical laboratory licenses (Chapter 186 of the Laws of 2023)
  • Provider protections for reproductive health services (Chapter 138 of the Laws of 2023)
  • Gender-affirming care (Chapter 143 of the Laws of 2023)
  • Temporary practice permits (Chapter 136 of the Laws of 2023)
  • Emergency medical services pilot program (Chapter 137 of the Laws of 2023)
