HANYS, in collaboration with the New York State Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology Coordinating Council, has developed a four-part webinar series for long-term care facilities.
Each virtual session will be led by state and national infection control experts. Topics include:
- risk assessment and plan development;
- surveillance and NHSN reporting;
- hand hygiene;
- standard and transmission-based precautions;
- occupational and resident health;
- facility-acquired infections;
- cleaning and disinfection; and
- antibiotic stewardship.
