HANYS, in collaboration with the New York State Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology Coordinating Council, has developed a four-part webinar series for long-term care facilities.

Each virtual session will be led by state and national infection control experts. Topics include:

• risk assessment and plan development;
• surveillance and NHSN reporting;
• hand hygiene;
• standard and transmission-based precautions;
• occupational and resident health;
• facility-acquired infections;
• cleaning and disinfection; and
• antibiotic stewardship.
