Statement from HANYS President Bea Grause, RN, JD, on Vaccine Distribution and Implementation Task Force

I greatly appreciate the governor’s focus on our preparedness to distribute an approved COVID-19 vaccine. A COVID-19 vaccine’s ultimate usefulness is dependent on our collective ability to administer it effectively and efficiently. I look forward to participating on this task force with my colleagues. Together, we will develop a coordinated strategy to make sure we are ready to vaccinate the millions of New Yorkers who are so eager to be protected against this devastating virus.

The Healthcare Association of New York State is the only statewide hospital and continuing care association in New York, representing nonprofit and public hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies and other healthcare organizations.
