New York's hospitals and healthcare systems have a long and rich tradition of caring for their communities. In response to the demands of healthcare reform, our hospitals and healthcare systems are developing community benefit strategies by engaging key stakeholders to improve the health of their communities.

HANYS is actively engaged in state and federal community health policy discussions to support our members' commitment to their communities and demonstrate the value that hospitals and healthcare systems continue to provide their communities.
