Recognitions, additions to HANYS’ quality committee

HANYS’ board of trustees is pleased to welcome Dr. Mark Jarrett of Northwell Health as the next chair of the HANYS Statewide Steering Committee on Quality Initiatives. The board thanks Dr. Robert J. Panzer of University of Rochester Medical Center for his seven years of service as chair; he will remain on the committee.

Top lawmakers call for enforcement of transparency rule

This week, leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee sent a bipartisan letter urging enforcement of the Hospital Price Transparency Final Rule.
