HANYS launches hospital staffing committee resource center for members
The webpage, which will be continually updated as new resources are developed, serves as an information hub to help our members implement requirements of the new hospital clinical staffing committee law.
Apply now for diversity and inclusion leadership development scholarships
Applicants have just over a month to meet the July 30 deadline to apply for our new leadership development scholarships. Made possible with support from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, these scholarships are open to full-time employees of HANYS member organizations and will prioritize underrepresented populations in healthcare leadership.
CDC and HHS award $200 million for disease intervention specialist workforce
According to the CDC, the funding, awarded to 59 jurisdictions, “will allow health departments to increase their capacity to conduct disease investigation, linkage to prevention and treatment, case management and oversight and outbreak response for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.”
