CMS final rule reflects HANYS priorities

The Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System final rule for 2023 contains several HANYS advocacy priorities including a 3.8% increase to the outpatient payment rates; a payment rate of average sales price plus 6% for drugs and biologicals acquired under the 340B Drug Pricing Program; and new Critical Access Hospital mileage criteria.
