HANYS calls on Congress to act before Oct. 1

In a letter to the New York congressional delegation, HANYS outlined several legislative priorities that must be addressed before the end of the federal fiscal year. In addition to averting a government shutdown when federal funding expires Oct. 1, Congress must extend important healthcare programs scheduled to sunset and ensure cuts to Medicaid DSH funding do not take effect.
