Hospital survey shows chronic challenges remain as H.R. 1 cuts loom
This year’s joint association hospital fiscal survey confirms most of New York’s hospitals continue to operate in the red or barely break even, forcing difficult decisions around staffing and services that impact patient access to care. Unfortunately, H.R. 1 and harmful policies related to 340B, site-neutral and more threaten to deepen this distress. We’re urging state and federal policymakers to do all they can to protect New Yorkers’ access to care.
