State legislative activity

This week the following bills were signed into law:

  • Digital healthcare services (Chapter 598 of the Laws of 2025)
  • Mandatory coverage for lung cancer screening (Chapter 576 of the Laws of 2025)
  • Language services in hospitals (Chapter 614 of the Laws of 2025)

The following bills were vetoed:

  • Wrongful death (Veto No. 87)
  • Age-friendly Health Systems Enhancement Act (Veto No. 59)
  • Toll exemption for emergency vehicles (Veto No. 55)
