HANYS’ Advocacy Day goes virtual
The weather forced us to cancel our in-person advocacy events — but that didn’t keep us down! Thank you to our board members and the policymakers who joined us for productive virtual conversations on the acute-on-chronic challenge facing hospitals and health systems, the need to protect 340B and mitigating the immediate and impending impacts of H.R.1. We encourage all our members to continue to reach out to your elected officials and share our state advocacy priorities.
HANYS comments
This week HANYS submitted comments to DOE on the proposed definition of “professional student” and SED on degree requirements for registered professional nurses.
Member Updates
HANYS’ Member Updates this week include messaging on new videos to improve care conversations with older adults and updates to help you make the most of your HANYS membership. See more updates on our website.
DOH launches new infection prevention and control learning series
