HANYS honors Mount Sinai Health System with 2026 CHIA

Congratulations to the team at Mount Sinai Health System, winners of this year’s Community Health Improvement Award! Their Adolescent Health Center provides comprehensive, accessible care to marginalized youth in their community — regardless of ability to pay. HANYS and AHA honor 2026 Grassroots Champion

HANYS honors Bea Grause, Rick Pollack at annual conference

HANYS celebrated the incredible careers of HANYS President Emeritus Bea Grause, RN, JD, and AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack at our annual conference this week. Grause was awarded HANYS’ 2026 Distinguished Service Award in celebration of her impactful decade-long tenure as HANYS’ president and CEO. The HANYS board of trustees presented Rick Pollack with an Award of Distinction for his strong, effective advocacy and leadership on behalf of our nation’s hospitals, patients and communities.
