HTNYS releases new conflicts of interest primer for trustees
Healthcare Trustees of New York State is providing trustees with a new resource to better identify and discuss conflicts of interest. As board members of hospitals and health systems, trustees represent their communities and have the responsibility to uphold the trust of the communities they represent in all of their governance decisions.
Conflicts of Interest: A Primer for Healthcare Trustees is an important and valuable resource that provides a better understanding of the regulatory landscape in New York state and what it means for trustees. It features an overview on what conflicts of interest are, provides a real-world case study and offers helpful tools to keep the discussion going in and out of the boardroom. Contact: Sue Ellen Wagner
