OASAS announces funding opportunity to advance regional networks for substance use disorder care
New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports released a request for applications to develop and support regional care networks.
Regionalization of care has been a growing strategy in many healthcare areas. Goals of the initiative are to improve collaboration within the treatment continuum, provide evidence-based interventions, integrate criminal justice populations, support a peer workforce and advance services for youth, women and families.
Applications are due Oct. 5. Eligible applicants must be OASAS-certified providers who lead their regional or borough Regional Planning Consortium.
