Second round of funding to expand addiction treatment services announced

On Oct. 7, Gov. Cuomo announced a second round of funding to expand access to addiction treatment services in New York state. Thirty providers were awarded more than $423,000 to purchase PCs, software, monitors, speakers, laptops, keyboards or webcams to deliver addiction telehealth services statewide. On Oct. 13, five providers were awarded $852,800 to purchase and operate mobile treatment vehicles in five regions across the state. The funding was provided by the federal State Opioid Response Grant, administered by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports.
