NY GOP reps push back on 340B cuts; CR passes

HANYS sounded the alarm on the impact of the proposed CY 2027 Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System rule and New York lawmakers responded, sending a letter to CMS urging reconsideration of cuts to Medicare reimbursement for 340B drugs in the rule. HANYS applauds Rep. Mike Lawler for leading his Republican colleagues in this effort and thanks Reps. Nick LaLota, Andrew Garbarino, Nicole Malliotakis, Nick Langworthy and Claudia Tenney for signing on in support. The House also passed a continuing resolution to fund the government through Dec. 11, avoiding a government shutdown.
