State legislative activity update

This week the following bills of interest were approved by Gov. Hochul:

• Information regarding sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (Chapter 505 of the Laws of 2022)
• DOH Office of Health Equity (Chapter 523 of the Laws of 2022)
• Physical therapy assistant licensure (Chapter 511 of the Laws of 2022)
• Private right of actions in residential health care facilities (Chapter 502 of the Laws of 2022)
