CMS pauses IDR process

The order for all federal Independent Dispute Resolution entities to immediately stop issuing payment determinations comes after a Texas judge vacated portions of the No Surprises Act’s IDR guidance last week. Certified IDR entities should also recall any payment determinations issued after Feb. 6. CMS and HHS are evaluating and updating the federal IDR process and guidance.
