Learn about HANYS’ new CMS contract for hospital quality improvement

HANYS received one of nine national contracts to be a Hospital Quality Improvement Contractor for the new Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors Task Order 3.

HANYS' new contract work with providers over the next four years will emphasize opioid and medication management, no harm across the board and readmissions reduction. It will build upon the hospital patient safety and quality improvement work accomplished under the New York State Partnership for Patients initiative.

There are some differences from NYSPFP. Most notably, participation is limited to hospitals on the CMS eligibility list, including rural and Critical Access Hospitals, those serving vulnerable and underserved populations and those with improvement opportunities as indicated through their individual CMS Star Ratings.

During this webinar, HANYS will provide an overview on:

• key priorities and goals;
• program approach;
• data analysis strategy and increased analytics; and
• timeline, recruitment and onboarding process.
