Federal agencies are taking a close look at healthcare record privacy and the use of tracking tools. Join HANYS, in collaboration with the New York Healthcare Cyber Alliance, as we take a closer look at HIPAA-covered entities and the use of trackers. We'll also take a fresh look at the rules surrounding covered entities vs third-party health tools and the latest FTC actions.

After this webinar, attendees will understand:

• when and for whom HIPAA applies;
• HHS Office for Civil Rights and FTC rules for the use of trackers; and
• what information can be collected and when a business associates agreement or signed consent is required.
