HANYS’ April 24 events during AHA’s annual meeting

Join us for HANYS’ activities on April 24 in conjunction with the American Hospital Association’s Annual Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C. Registration for HANYS’ events is separate from AHA Annual Membership Meeting registration.

HANYS members are invited to join us at the Marriott Marquis on April 24 at 3:45 p.m. for a congressional forum featuring key New York delegation staff who will share insights from Capitol Hill as lawmakers grapple with how to address the nation’s debt limit and other converging priorities during the 118th Congress. We encourage HANYS members to take advantage of this unique and timely opportunity to engage with staff who play an important role in influencing the outcome of critical hospital and health system issues.

HANYS also invites our members to dine with us at Del Frisco’s at 7 p.m. Pre-registration for the dinner is required by Apr. 7.

Note: Congress will not be in session until the evening of Tuesday, April 25. However, we encourage you to take this opportunity to meet with New York congressional delegation staff to talk about key priorities such as averting the impending Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital cuts, addressing the healthcare workforce shortage and more. HANYS’ Washington office stands ready to help arrange meeting opportunities upon request.
