Health System Emergency Management - Two Health Systems Share Practices

Registration for this event is open to HANYS Members and Non-Members.

This webinar will feature Emergency Managers from the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) and New York City Health + Hospitals (H+H), who will share their strategies to enhance resilience and prepare for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) emergency preparedness requirements.

Healthcare emergency preparedness continues to undergo tremendous changes. These changes have resulted in challenges and opportunities for innovative practices. URMC will highlight their partnership between business continuity and emergency management, and H+H will share how they leverage emergency management for special pathogen preparedness.

Members will have the opportunity to hear from peers representing different emergency management models, and join in a discussion about how to continue improving NYS healthcare preparedness.
