Dr. Vera Feuer, MD, expert in pediatric and emergency medicine, will provide an overview of growing behavioral health needs among adolescents and share practical strategies to help hospitals best serve this population in this resource-limited environment.

HANYS’ two-part Responding to increases in youth experiencing mental health crises series is focused on challenges experienced by members reporting a sharp rise in adolescents presenting with serious mental health needs, and offers an opportunity to learn from and ask questions of experts.
