Reinvigorating HAI prevention strategies

April 21
Webinar

Noon - 1 p.m.

This event is open to HANYS members and non-members.

Rates of healthcare-associated infections increased significantly during the pandemic. As we move forward, it is essential for healthcare organizations to reinvigorate their HAI prevention. This session will help you build resiliency into your infection control program to tackle challenges such as central line-associated bloodstream infections, catheter-associated urinary tract infections, methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus and clostridioides difficile.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • describe important infection prevention gaps created during the pandemic;
  • identify lessons learned; and
  • leverage strategies for HAI prevention, including building resiliency, back to basics, root cause analysis and data review.

This webinar is part of HANYS’ Commitment to Excellence Emerging Quality Trends Series. Each session will cover a different cutting-edge topic to expand healthcare providers' clinical expertise and share proven best practices to deliver high-quality care.
