HANYS’ PSI-90 analytic report overview

Join us for an overview of the Patient Safety Indicator 90 reports HANYS recently provided to members. These interactive, facility-specific, web-based PSI-90 reports benchmark your facility's performance nationally, within New York and among your peers. HANYS staff will review the use of PSI-90 in the CMS Inpatient Quality Reporting and Pay for Performance programs, and provide an overview of this HANYS facility-specific report
The PSI-90 composite measure reflects the prevention of multiple conditions and is publicly reported on Hospital Compare. PSI-90 (v12.0) is a part of the CMS Overall Star Ratings Safety domain. PSI-90 (v12.0) is used in the federal fiscal year 2023 Hospital-Acquired Condition Reduction Program. On Jan. 25, CMS updated the Hospital Compare website, including surgical and other complications that make up the PSI-90 composite measure.
