CMS adopted the total hip arthroplasty/total knee arthroplasty patient-reported outcome-based performance measure for use in the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting program beginning with the federal fiscal year 2028 payment determination.
Reid Kiser, director of the CMS Division of Quality Measurement, will answer HANYS members' questions on the THA/TKA PRO-PM to help ensure reporting compliance.
