Strategies for Quality and Patient Safety for Pediatrics

October 24, 2019
Webinar

3 - 3:30 p.m.

Registration is open to HANYS Members Only

The Children’s Hospitals’ Solutions for Patient Safety is a network of 135+ children’s hospitals who share the goal of reducing serious harm. The group – funded in part by the Cardinal Health Foundation, Children’s Hospital Association and the federal Partnership for Patients initiative – focuses on reducing harm by preventing readmissions, serious safety events and 11 specific hospital-acquired conditions. While the strategies were developed by and for children’s hospitals, the approaches can be applied to all settings that care for pediatric patients.

As part of our Commitment to Excellence program, HANYS will host NYS regional Leaders for the Children’s Hospitals’ Solutions for Patient Safety who will highlight strategies and lessons learned to advance quality and patient safety for children on Oct. 24, at 3 p.m.

Featured Speakers:

Anu Subramony, MD, MBA, chief quality officer, Cohen Children’s Medical Center and vice president, quality and safety, pediatric service line

Maria Lyn Quintos-Alagheband, MD, quality and safety officer, children’s services and director, performance improvement, Science Academy, NYU Winthrop Hospital

HANYS’ C2X program continues to provide a dynamic portfolio of education designed to support hospital-specific improvement efforts. HANYS’ members are encouraged to join C2X to stay on the cutting edge of healthcare practices and use their combined knowledge, expertise and best practices to achieve healthcare excellence.
